In the Wildrose (Provincial) Stream athletes compete provincially and inter-provincially to achieve their personal bests in one of the following age groups:

10 & under
12 & under
13-15
15 & over
Senior (18+)
An athlete’s age group is determined by their age on Dec 31 of the competitive year (i.e. their age at Dec 31, 2012 for the 2011/12 season). Athletes may compete on a team up to one age group above their actual age.

With a focus on further developing skills, swimmers learn synchro-specific skills, including flexibility, strength, endurance and speed development.

Ideally all swimmers will be placed on a team. There will also be an opportunity for athletes to swim an extra routine (duet or solo), as determined by the Head Coach. The Coaches’ decision on placement and team makeup is final.
